Hello,

Yesterday I Installed a New Carb Body on my slayer, due to the fact that when I was cleaning, I went to reinstall HSN housing and Cross threaded it. So I Headed to my LHS and picked up a new carb body. After successful installation New gaskets and all. I have had to reset my carb to factory settings after cleaning before, though this time I could not get it to start.

After following traxxas Directions on TRX 3.3 Factory settings, I could not even get it to idle, After toying with it I had it running and idling. I though it stalled out at about 40% throttle, maybe less. I tried adjusting my low speed and high speed with little success, Does anyone have tips for such a situation, I'm still very new to tuning the carb. Somewhat confused why factory settings wouldn't work as well.

Maybe an air leak in the carb. When you transferred the HSN and LSN to the new body, did you seal it up? I had similar sounding problems with a new 3.3 carb body.

The thought passed through my mind, Ill check for air leaks and see what i get

Well it looks like the plastic threads on one of the screws have been ruined, I probably overtightened. Are there any other options for carbs on the trx 3.3? Possibly aluminum replacement or something similar?
