The brakes on my savage are to tight. When the truck coast's to a stop it does so very quickly and jerks to a stop. If I am going to fast it will flip end over end. How do I adjust this?????????? Thanks in advance.

on your brake linkage there is a black knob turn it back a turn . make sure you test it by rolling it when the radio is on but the engine is off.

That took me all of about 5 seconds to fix..........thank you very much. I am new and for some reason I forgot all about the adjustment. Thank you.

Everyone has a brain fart from time to time. You are welcome!

I'm having break issues as well. when i hit my break it closes to idle but when i let off the break it opens a 1/4" inch and i have to hit the gas for it to go back to its idle point. i can't figure this for nothing. i've tried messing with the settings on my radio to no avail.

It's a linkage thing.
With the engine OFF, and the radio ON, you have to adjust the linkage so that will not happen.
Take off the airfilter and look in the carb.
As you hit brake and throttle, you will see the hole open and close.
When your at neutral, adjust the linkage rod, so that the opening is closed to about 1mm.

Set you carb opening with Idle Set Screw when it is off. and radio on. Test your brakes to make sure the carb does not fully close when the brakes are applied. Then if you have EPA trim make sure your throtle linkage doesn't try to open the carb too far, only enough to open it fully.

when i hit the break it closes to the 1mm point but then open to the 1/4" inch point. i have to hit the gas for it to close back to 1mm.

everything is cool and set but this thing just oopens back up when i let off the break.
