help with 3.3 rebuild

i put in new piston/sleeve
now i go to start it with ez start, it turns over for few sec, and then nothing, wait a few sec turn it over againnnothing,.
i have good charged battery,new plug,clean carb,new tank and fuel lines.
what could be the problem?

i hope someone can help me.

you may have to re-tune to account for higher pressure in the combustion chamber, since your practically running a brand new engine, but you've been progressively tuning to compensate for wearing parts. Reset to factory and start all over.

What exactly do you mean by turns over then nothing? Is it firing for a few seconds then quitting or is the engine rotating then stopping with out firing?

engine will turn over and then stop

if i wait a few sec, it will turn over agin, for a few sec but will not fire.

kinda like when it flooded.

heat the block whit a hair dryer or heat gun as much as you can ..then try to start it

Loosen the sleeve up enough to keep you from snapping the rod or doing any other damage to the engine.

it will turn over,and then nothing will happen, i wait ,it turns over for few sec and then nothing again.

it might still be tight ....heat it up ..I'm sure you will see a difference

so by heating i should have a good eazy start??????????????

it should ...i know it helped on mine ..had to do that until i had about half a gallon of fuel burnt in with the engine ..that engine was really tight
