?? It's dangling loose on mine and it won't start, I think this is the problem. Is it a ground to the chassis or something?

nevermind...I just figured it out. It goes under a bolt that holds the engine down that decided to run away from me.

decided to run away??

yeah, it ran away from the truck and didn't tell me where it was going...in short, it vibrated loose and fell out somewhere. Of course, after spending 125.00 on the truck already this weekend for new a-arms, tires and wheels, shock oil, steering servo, and servo saver, that one screw that came out must have convinced another one to go with him, b/c the truck was running freakin' awesome tonight out in the street and all of a sudden the rpms go up and the truck barely wants to move...the 2 bolts that came out allowed the engine to lift on one side when you give it gas, separating the clutch bell and spur gear, and the spur gear made like a banana and split all the teeth off of it. At least a new spur gear will only cost me a couple bucks. It's all in fun
