I am just getting over a back injury that has kept me bedside for close to 2 years.
I bought a BRAND NEW Savage XL right before I hurt my back and needless to say I never really got a chance to drive my truck to the point where I could have some fun! I have ran about 4 tanks on the engine right now and it seems like it is running to rich! Lastnight at the ball fields when I went to give it gas it would start to bogg down and wouldn't take off like it was yesterday?? I know there is a way you are suppose to tune the engine but I am not sure how to do it? I use to be a able to do this myself but for some reason I can't remember how to get the engine TUNED and running full nuts?? I don't want to start turning this and turning that without some know how from someone out there that knows what there doing?? If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be greatful!!

Thank you for helping out in advance!!

one thing I wanted to add was double check all the needles and make sure the o-rings are in good shape... on my k5.9 all three of my needles had bad o-rings. If they are cracked or ruined you will never get the engine to hold a proper tune. Also you might want to look into sealing your needles with Green Slime.. Its sold by Team Associated. I personally dont seal anything else on the engine, unless it still has issues after sealing the needles.
