HELP!! T-MAXX problem

:bow:Hi I am a newbie to all this, and I bought a Traxxas T-maxx 2.5 of ebay, the guy I bought it from said it was rtr, just add batts and fuel, which i have but nothing. I did'nt get the instruction manual either so am at a bit of a loss. When i plug the ez start in and press it i either get 1 or 2 of the lights on, and i am a bit baffled, anyone with any ideas i would be most grateful to here them, cheers mike.

Engine Problems:
EZ Start battery is not charged enough to turn the engine over.
Engine can not turn over because it is flooded with fuel.

Glow Plug Problems:
Blue Glow Plug Wire not connected properly
Bad Glow Plug


It could be a number of things, but when you find the manual at either RC Docs or Traxxas's website it will cover these issues in the EZ Start section I believe.

The best thing you can do if you are using the EZ Start is to pull the blue wire off the glow plug and go with a separate glow ignitor.

Batts in the EZ Start will last much longer and it has an easier time turning the engine over if all the power is going towards the EX Start motor.

EZ start is more of a problem then its worth. Plus its heavy
I removed mine and put a pull starter on it and couldn't be happier. THree pulls cold and it starts
Generally one pull when its warm
Just remember to get some glow plug drivers
