I snapped the idle screw on my Picco 21 and the idle is quite high it wont stay still even with the brake on, Does this mean a whole new carb or is it possible to get a new screw and whatever part the old one is lodged into? I'm quite sure that it can't be removed with out the head of the screw.

The only chance you have to get it out, is to remove the carb, and see if you can turn the end of the idle screw from the inside, with needle nose pliers. You might be able to back it out enough to get hold of it from the outside. If not, you'll need a new carb body. It's too small to do with an EZ out.

Ill try that today, It should come through from the other side because there is a bit sticking out (obviously to fit in the groove and stop the carb shutting) If for some reason i can't get it ill che4ck tower for a carb body, Does it have to be a picco one? Or just a .21 with same diameter neck?

I think it has to be the Picco one because you want all of the internals to fit in it correctly.

As long as it is the same neck size, then yes, you can...... i think... Were is Rolex?!

Thanks for all the help everyone I'm shopping for a replacement for it now but ill order tomorrow when I'm 100% sure of the carb being compatible, For now I'm getting some bulkheads and a brake

At my desk. If the neck size is the same, it will fit. Don't be looking for a discount. I'd go with the same carb, unless someone has a recommendation for more of a performance carb.
