I was gonna upgrade my standard radio that came with my XL with Spektrum DX3R, now my servos haven't been upgraded - they came with the truck (SF1 and SF5) and which I think are analog.
Would above mentioned Spektrum radio work with these servos or do I have to buy a pair of digital servos that would work with Spektrum radio?
I'm planning to get digital servos anyway - 5955TG 24kg for steering and something smaller for brake/throttle.

..and something little different now... why are some people putting 4 plastic zip-ties around cooling head???

Thanx in advance

The zip ties are to protect the cooling head from scratches while doing the shiny side slide.

Your stock servos will work no problem until you get your new servos. Pick a servo with good torque and speed for throttle/brakes.
