Kinda a dumb question but how do you control revo 3.3 when on track every once in a while i will jump and my truck will just want to do a front flip or do a front flip how do i control this and whats the best technique for racin? :D

you need to nail the gas as soon as you are about to leave the ground, it is instinctive to not do that - but the rotational force of the wheesl spinning faster keeps the front of the truck up..only way to do it...

JettaManDan is right. Just make sure you don't land the jumps at full throttle or you will quickly be replacing transmission or drivetrain parts.

cool thanks for the advice I also have another question my revo 3.3 wont idle and when i hit the brakes or let off the throttle when going my truck shuts off:\:\

Make sure your idle gap is set to 1mm. Your LSN may be a little too rich also. Can you give a few more details about how it idles and runs?

Yeah it is a real balancing act to get it to jump right but not have the gas pinned as you land..i can do it with my 1/8th scale buggy - but those jump like champs anyway...the revo is much harder...

as LBSin said...gotta make sure your LSN is set correctly..and then also check to see if the HSN is set right too - i always go back to stock settings when i have a running issue...then i check my fuel lines for cracks or anything like that...

thanks for the advice guys but right now still not right its slightly sluggish out of corners but runs pretty well on straights pretty good line of smoke as well i still can not use my brakes or let completly off the throttle because it dies when i do how do i adjust the brakes cause the brakes close my carb which kills it idle on remote all the way up and idle gap set to 1mm i have to keep the throttle on remote cracked to start and keep it running :(:(:(:\:\:\

It seems like your LSN is too rich as it is sluggish. Lean the LSN and for the idle screw just keep turning inward until it will idle. Hope this help. :)

It sounds like you have your idle gap set to 1mm with the trim on your transmitter, but the idle screw itself on the carb is not set to 1mm, so when you hit the brake, your carb is still closing off. I would disconnect the throttle linkage, and push the carb closed with your finger and see where it closes off. Then adjust the idle screw accordingly. Then fine tune your needles from there.
