hey there i am getting a tmaxx in the next few days its the 2.5 but the conrod has broken... i am getting a new 1 for free and i am going to install it myself.... can anyone send me a pic or video of how to do it or just a decent explenation... just a bit of another quenstion.... what is the biggest problem with them ??

If you go to the traxxas web site..you can get the manual for the engines which details the procedure to replace the rod.

Imo, the reversing tranny is the biggest and easiest to fix problem. Much smoother with the foc.
Its pretty straight forward the hardest part is the g clip that holds the wrist pin in. it is really tiny
break the engine down I would also replace the sleeve and piston at this time as well
pull the sleeve fromthe top of the engine this will give you enough play to get the piston and broke conrod out. next is the g clip on the side of the piston I have a very small set of needle nose pliers grab the middle of the clip and turn it as to tighen it and it will come out. to reinstall it use the same procedure
