having problems starting buggy seems to take me forever to start not sure where and what setting i should use ie where should the trim be for starting any advise on this would be grear,is it because its new that it cuts out after i finally get it started and its run for a while as i am told to slowly run in 6 tanks is this right? once it cuts out it seems to get harder and harder to pull start why? someone said at the shop i bought from to loosen the plug, does help but when i go to tighten it back up the buggy revs really high and tries to shoot off then when i tighten back up it cuts off again, once i do get it running around then it stops(cuts out after a while i find it virtually impossible to start it up again straight away, what way would you start it up after its been running then cuts out
i know its a lot to answer but i hope some one may be able to shed some light on my starting problems
thanks

starting problem sorted

now just looking for some good tuning tips to get the best out of the buggy

Hey wentwothf,

What was the problem, I am having an almost identical issue with my buggy and it's driving me insane. Had it for about 4 months now and have been able to get it runnig for a grand total of about 5 minutes. Wouldn't mind some info on how you solved your problem

Try weakening the mixture very slightly, only 1/8 - 1/16 of a turn, sounds like its flooding. Let me know if it works.

I would start at the factory settings on the carb.

How i start mine it mine help you with yours.
First off. You should always make sure your piston is at BDC. After each run.

Now to start mine I prime the engine. Then trim it about a quarter. Then pull a couple times. Leave the trim up for a min. Then run :)

And if its warm already i just pull a couple of times.
Hope this helps man.

Things that may have been overlooked.
1,Ambient temp.
2,Glow plugs.see (1)hot/cold plugs may need replace.)
3,Different transmitters need different throttle trim.
