Ok it started for a couple of seconds, it started moving without me giving it a signal, then cut out and will now not start, tried re priming it and still nothing ,took glo plug out and plug is wet, changed plug still no start ,tried plug out of head with ez start and it did not glo neither did the first one when i re tried it, tried both plugs with my seperate ignitor and they both got hot, tried them in revo with my ignitor no start, not sure what to do next HELP oh i am running 10% fuel.

 I have got it started, after con checking the cable from the ez start terminal to the motor it seemed all was fine so cleaned out the hsn again. Blew the motor out through the glo plug again, and changed the glo plug again(third one now) put it all back together and with not much hope tried again, a quick blast with ez start and with a shout of it's alive it started to buzz away, after messing about all night trying to get it started I have run out of time to try and run it in, will try again tomorrow :hammer:

Make sure you break it in EXACTLY the way Traxxas recommends and you will have a trouble free engine. Traxxas also recommends their own fuel and not to switch to another brand or percentage rating after beak-in, but it seems many experts on this forum do not find this to be a hard and fast rule.

Good luck!

I wish I could get round to breaking it in, the weather here has been reaqlly bad since i bought my revo, so I am itching to get out with it.
I dont think we can get traxxas fuel over here in England but I an using model technics 10%.

Hey I'm kinda new so dont crack down on me if this is wrong. DO NOT prime the engine if it already started for a little. I guess is that you probably flooded the engine. take out the glowplug, flip her upside down and do some short bursts of ez start to unflood it. If your carb is opened too many turns too much gas can flood it. Also before you start it take a hair dryer to the head for a minute. this way its already warmed up. and turn the idle down to keep her still, i wouldnt do it on the radio i would do it useing the idle screw on the carb. Hope this helps

The only way you can test a glow plug with the easy start is to have the wire connected and hold the side of the plug against the head. It needs to be grounded. the wire gives it +, or positive, and the engine, being grounded gives it -, or negative.
