PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE!!!!!

I HAVE RECENTLY BOUGHT AN HPI SUPER NITRO RS4.

I AM LOOKING TO BUY AN ENGINE FOR IT, I WANT AND ENGINE THAT WILL BE FAST AND AROUND $200 OR LESS.

I AM THINKING OF BUYING A OS .12 CVR-X, WOULD THIS BE A GOOD ENGINE FOR JUST DRIVING AROUND NOT RACING??

Can't help you with that particular issue, but....

Welcome to RCNT.

Please turn your caps lock off; It is considered yelling in the internet world and it is a little hard on the eyes when trying to read through it. Thanks.

I guarantee that someone will provide you some information on a great engine. BTW, the one you listed is a good quality engine (as most OS engines are).

That's fine. I plan to put a .21 in mine down the road.

otherkid - the supernitro will accept any side exhaust rotary carb small block as a direct replacement. I would recommend the OS .15CV-RX as it will give u a decent amount more power than the 12 and is about the same cost.

I agree with NA on this one. I always seem to follow him on these threads. You can't go wrong with an O.S. They are reliable, hold a tune, and are great all around engines. If you are not going to race, get the .15 CV-RX

Sorry about the caps, I'm used to typing in them.

Thanks for the help I think i will go for the OS .15CV-RX.

If I remember I'll keep you guys updated on the performance.

Thanks...:jester:

Welcome to the forums. I guess you already heard about the capslock thing so I wont go into it.

My LHS sells OS .12CVX for $85 so I don't think you'll have a problem finding an engine for less than $200. An OS .12 CVR-X should run like $115-$120.

After you guys helped me out with my engine dilemma I sold my super nitro. It was running OK but not great. I am getting an HPI RS4 now, I'm still thinking i should go with the OS 15 CV-RX engine though.

Too long post:flamer: again
