Help me!!!!!!!!!! please

Hi,I'm new to all this nitro car stuff and i bought a 2nd hand gx12 engine (dont worry i dont need help starting it or anything) I've got a new body kit but i dnt wnt the exhuast comming out of the side of it,so i turned the tip of the exhaust facing down and I've put a tube on the end of it and have it commin out the back of the car instead,but.......... koz of the heat its melting sooooooooooo i was wondering if anyone knew of an add on or something else,thank you.

on my revo i have a deflector, its rubber like material that doesn't melt at all. but its not as long as what your looking for, mine is only about 2" long or so

i would just point the tip away from the car and forget about the deflector IMO

Just for future reference, this is not a chat room and many members refuse to reply to posts written it that chat crap. If you take an extra 5 seconds to write it in the queen's English, we won't have to spend an extra 30 seconds trying to decipher it before ignoring it.

i used brake cleaner to take of the paint on an old shell, than you can respray it with lexan(polycarbonate) specific paint.

and try to listen to what rolex is saying. alot of people dont like "chat" talk in here.
like:

wod= would
wot=what

ect. dont take that long to spell it out =]

Go to your hobby shop and ask for an exhaust deflector. There are basically 2 sizes, this one is for the big block. I'm pretty sure you have the same size that fits the airplane mufflers.
They will not melt or deform in any way. Just make sure you use a zip tie to secure it to the pipe.

I've bought one from ebay,just waiting for it to arrive,I'm just sick of all the mess it makes from the exhaust or is it something you can never get rid off?

You might also try silicon tubing it can handle alot of heat

might just try putting a hole in the body?

If you use somthing that long, it will drasticly effect your tunability.

If tunability is not a word, it should be.
