wow 24.99? that button is that much? Have you checked anywhere else? If you really stripped it, have you checked for shavings in your piston chamber? don't want you to have any more damage done to your mill.

That'd be the part. Have you taken the head off and inspected the underhead? Well, more importantly, have you inspected the inside of the engine? I would check the piston/sleeve for any damage that a stray shard might make. But yes, if the plug won't tighten up, you'll need that part you linked.

God you would almost be cheeper to buy on eon fleebay. At least get a used motor or a knoen good one for parts. I have been thinking of letting mine go. DUnno I know some guys sell them on ebay pretty cheep.

I would be more tempted to buy a new cooling head, they come in lots of different freaky colours now. Never seen stripped glow plug threads before, i have not lived.

The part he needs is a head button. The head sits on top of the head button. Not all engines have a 2 piece heads. The Ofna Picco 26, Orion Wasp 26, HPI 21BB have 2 piece heads, whereas the Ofna Hyper 21 8 port does have a 1 piece head (others I can't speak on).

I just stripped the threads in my os21rg last week,I am not sure how I stripped the threads, I am always careful when installing new glo plugs, lucky for me I have another rg with a broken con rod so I just swapped em out, while looking at the head I realized that the button and head is one piece, so the $24.99 button is not an option for me, this is good to know if this ever happens again, although thats a high price for the button, some of the after market heads out there are twice that and more! Here is a link to some very nice options I will be looking into myself in the future!

I stand corrected, cheers 401.

Cheers bro. I didn't know about head buttons until I got into nitro cars. All the aircraft engines I have ever had always had 1 peice heads.
