Help Me Out Please

Iv'e had my savage 25 rtr for about a month and a half and bashed the hell out of it and the only thing i broke was one rear shock from jumping a snow bank 10ft in the air and landed on a man hole cover oops! other than that its great!!!!

LOL, no only if you really go out of your way to just want to break it, otherwise it isn't going to break that easily, I slammed mine full head on into a concrete block (I mean a big block like 4'Lx3'Wx3'H) full speed wide open and the only thing I had was a slightly tweaked dog bone, wich was fix easy enough by putting it in a vise and straightening it, I've rolled it down a 75' sand pile and kept on bashing, I've caught over 6' of air and not broken anything..............so no this truck does not break easy, it is a very sturdy, solid truck.

hey guys, i was thinkin of gettin the hump pack for my savage 21, if i get that on from ebay, would i still have to get the on/off switch thing from tower hobbies?thanks

if you buy a new piston/sleeve/conrod. will you have to break the engine in agian

About the hump pack - the one i recommended from ebay attached to the stock switch it also has a charge jack and charger.
Which means once you install it, thats it. Charge it on truck no probs. Ran 1 gall through it already and have no complaints about the 6v hump pack. Here's the link:

Indeed, when it is time to replace the engine you can go thru HPI's engine exchange and get a brand new S-25 for $100 (so I've been told by HPI) or you can spend a few more bones and get a Picco .26 or something similar like the WASP, or you could venture into the Nova Rossi line, but get's a little more spendy depending on the engine you pick............but if you just want to rebuild one for the experience and knowledge the go for it, nothing wrong in doing that!

ordered my savage today from my lhs the price of was 419.00 no shipping w00t!!! and reverse everything else i want he has in stock so i should have it by this coming tuesday
