I have an NB16-t, with a Toki .06 engine.

Out of the box it ran a treat, took it out and did 1st tank break in.

After letting it cool it wouldn't start, however got it going next day (without changine anything)

It stalled after about 40 secs then refused to start again. After about 10 sessions of pull starting, it started. Stalled after 5 sconds.

Now wont start at all!

-glow plug/ starter are fine
-using 16% fuel

Also I am getting bubbles in the fuel line. And when I try to start it, it sounds so close to starting and I even smell burnt fuel. But doesn't quite get going.

I thought maybe the needles are way off, but the manual doesn't mention them so don't know where to set them....

Any help? thanks

possible pin hole in the fuel line some where, worth changing, to say it starts it works, but its prob not continuing to run as there is no pressure to push the fuel. its being lost out the hole?

worth changing the fuel lines to see, shouldnt cost much to change either.

this happened to my ts4n before, tank full of fuel but would not stay running, fuel line was damaged.

DAve (I'm a noob but said i'd share my experience)

Agreed that you have an air leak. I would not just focus on the fuel lines. Check the tank for cracks. Check the line where the two halve were joined together. Check the tank lid for proper seal. Use soapy water to do a proper leak test. But this air leak alone would not cause all your problems.

IMO you are also a little rich on the tune. All mills come rich from the factory. That way you can break them in without killing them. You can try leaning out the HSN a 1/16 or two and see if that helps your problem.

Also, one tank does not constitute a break-in. I would do a proper heat-cycle break-in of not less than six tanks or a quart of fuel before I even considered touching the HSN and leaning out for power.
