Yup, I went to bash and after starting the truck I notice this allen head screw on the ground, however I can't seem to find where it is from, I know it is from the truck but can't seem to see where it goes. As I am new maybe you guys can help, I found it in the back of the truck on the ground on the right hand side by the back right wheel.

Ideas? Truck runs great but I would hate to have something pop off.

Who knows? We dont know what kind of truck, what mm the head is, the length, the dia. or anything.

DOH. sorry, HPI Savage X the bolt is about an inch long, looks to be the same head as the ones that are holding the motor in place.

Sorry for not mentioning those little important details before.

check your pull/roto start assembly that all those are in place on the engine back plate as i had them come loose a couple times on me.

It's not going to be an inch long and belong to the engine...

Check your bulkheads/diff cases, look up and down the TVPs and see if there are any holes.

no allenheads on my chassis. only place allen heads are is carb, motor mounts and backplate. everything else is philipshead screws

I guess you aren't talking about a Savage.

I like dropping screws in random places just to confuse people. :D

ROFL. Well today the hunt shall begin will update later. Right now holiday here and seems I have this list of stuff I need to do in the yard before I can even think of going to the basement to look at the truck.

The way I see it is that you have two choices, run it till it breaks, or tear it down and lock tight every thing.

At least you found the screw, I hate it when I spin off a wheel nut and then spend the afternoon looking for it because I don't have any spares.
