Hey guys just sent the rod of my 3.3 through the bottom of the case. I guess I messed up. Not sure how but I did.

My question is. Can I do the Traxxas trade in thing. I haven't bought the trade in plan yet. Does that natter? Can I just take the KO'b motor to my LHS that sell's Traxxas and trade it in + the 100-150 bucks and get a new 3.3?

The other question is what is the best motor for my Revo? Because I'm new with tuning, I would like some thing that is easy to tune and has more power than the 3.3. I have heard that a lot of guys like the Picco .26 Max and the O.S. .21. Not sure what .21. Also I'm looking at warranty as well.

Any help would be great. I would like to order or buy on Monday.

Thanks again. Sean

Ya you can just send them right into traxxas you don't have to buy anything to be elgible just send it in with what they want on it and package it and send it I just sent mine out a couple thursdays ago. For the other motor I don't know.

just go to the traxxas website and got to the engine replacement program link and follow the instructions.

or you could go to the towerhobbies website and check out the OS .21TM ($279.99) which I'm pretty sure is a 3.3 when you do the conversion. (i could be wrong so you might want to confirm that with someone else) or the Ofna Picco .26maxx engine ($199.99) plus the motor mount ($19.99) which is probably your best option cuz its cheaper and alot of people give that engine a good rating. its all up to your preference and how big your wallet is.

O.S. holds the rep for tuning ease/ reliability. Picco's can be finicky if you are an inexperienced tuner. Both are expensive in my book. Stay with the 3.3 until you are more confident in your tuning abilities. You learn to tune a 3.3 you can pretty much tune anything after that.
Remember, more power always come with a downside. The drivetrain wears out much quicker.

Well. I did it. I went with the OS 21 TM. This thing is awesome! Just finished the 8th tank to day. The only thing I didn't like was the price but I would do it again. I'm just glad that I came in to some extra money so I could afford it. I will be sending the 3.3 to Traxxas to see if they will replace it. I think I have a good case. If they don't. I'll just keep it for parts and buy another 3.3 online for cheap. Or I might rebuild the blown one.

You gotta give us a vid..... even better drag race another 3.3 powered Revo in a vid. Good choice, glad your happy with it.

Thanks guys. I'll try to find some one with a 3.3 to race. Shouldn't be to hard.

I got a EMail from Traxxas and they told me every thing I need to do to have them look at the blown 3.3.
