Just recieved my Hot bodies CVD's for my savage 25. I have the truck torn down. I'm trying to Install the Front and rear center CVD's. I took the stock cup off the transmission where the dogbone goes in. The CVD's do not have pins with them though. And the Stock pin that held the old cup to the transmission is too small to fit with the CVD's. Am I doing something wrong? Am I missing a piece? Please help, I have my entire truck torn apart and I would love to get this done.

The CVD joint goes on the Diff side, not the tranny side.

I'm a freakin idiot. LMAO. Thanks bro. Got done with the Front Center and the Front CVDs from the tires to the diff. Also just put in the 4 spider mod. I hope i see some improvement in handling and durability. I hear people complain about pins falling out of their CVD's, what pin are they talking about? The pin that hold the CVD to the diff?

you'll want to use some good loctite on the grub screws located on the pivot area on the cvd side of the shaft. there might only be one holding the pivot pin in the joint, but you can add 4mm grubs to really secure the pin. I hope that made sense. Take a look in my gallery for a pic of what happend when one gets loose. Don't use blue loctite, it won't hold. Try to find some green at an autoparts store or home improvement store. Also, do not use the red kind, it will never come back apart.

Don't worry about the "doh!", hot bodies instructions leave alot to be desired.
