help!!! got no brakes

I was playin around today and the brakes wouldnt work,then once i did stop i had no throttle, so i jiggled the servo a lil bit and it took off ! did i toast the servo ??
 
Was the servo moving at all? Could you hear the servo? You may have just blown a servo gear. Or blown the motor.

Or you linkages could just be off.

There's a number of possibilities
 
The servo wasn't moving at all untill i moved it with my finger
this is the first time its happend
 
Was the steering working?

Turn on your transmitter and receiver and give it throttle and see if you can hear the motor.
 
Also check and make sure that everything has a good connection including your receiver crystal.
 
well i checked all my connections and took it for a run this morning and as soon as i fired it up the servo was moving back and forth ,drove it around and the damn thing took off and hit a wall :doh: and i have fresh batteries in it.
 
Borrow another transmitter and/or receiver...swapping these out should isolate the problem...if you have the HPI-TF4,like I do,you may have a defective one,like I do...:>)
 
hey wheelin24/7, sorry bout that wreck man, did you brake anything? maybe you should invest in a uhh.. i can't think of the name right now. haha those things that if yu lose signal it makes your brakes go on.dang i can't think of it right now!!!can somene help me? hehe but hope you figure out the problem there.dang

LMAO!!! HAHAHAHAHA..........someone had a brain fart! That's a fail safe you are thinking of..........I hate when that happens LOL
 
ya haha i was talkin bout a fail safe!i just totaly went blank haha. but ya I'm talkin about the fail safe.thanks

Well after hitting the garage and smacking a tree i replaced the receiver and guess what....... Problem solved!!!!!!!!!!:breakdown
So now its back to bashing and breaking stuff the fun way!!!!!!!
