Do I need to have the spring recoiled and back in to use the spin start on a losi limited edition aftershock it has the stock pull/spin start.
Also when spining the owb my piston was going up and down now its not. Did I break it.

Ok noone was answering me so I thought I'd post it elsewhere, anyways can you help me here?

I don't have mine to look at right now but I would say no,the spring should not effect the spin start portion of the assembly. Did you have the owb out? Try cleaning it with denatured alcohol.

take a allen wrench and take the back of the motor off, you will find the OWB, clean it good. Dont oil it. It gets oiled from the fuel. Put it back together. Second the pull/spin start is trash. its over engineered and the pieces in the spin/pull are small and junk. Either go with the full spin start or use a LRP spec2 .30 pull start. The spin start can be found at Overdriverc.com for roughly 5 bucks.

My pull/spin start is on the side where the pipe comes out canI put this on there still. Also its a limited edition aftershock.

the spin start I linked will work, when ordering make sure you get the .21 and larger spin start. It will fit any LST2/AF/XXL. the spin/pull combo is junk. too much engineering for a small piece.
