Hi everyone I'm kinda new to rc cars. i have a D&A Bungee http://www.rctoys4less.com/wholesale-Products/Default.aspx?ProductID=114 and I'm having bad luck. the throttle servo broke and the car crashed, now the plastic piece that the throttle rod hooks to on the carb broke. whats that piece called and where can i find one? The D&A website doesn't have a contact link for me to get in touch with them.

A picture would help or a link to the manual witht he part number that you are looking for.

thats the problem, the manual doesn't list the part i need. You can see it in the pic (the top of it) right beside the air filter. It's just a small piece of plastic with holes in it for the throttle rod to connect to it. It screws into the carb to open/close it.

OK, any reason you can't use or modify a plastic servo horn? ( the plastic part that bolts to the servo and is the other end of that linkage)

Hmm, do you know the brand of the engine? Have any better shots of that part? Most of these things are very similar to other companies parts and someone might recognize it if there is a better pic.

If you have a dremmel or similar tool, you could make this part from scrap plastic.
Take the part off and scribe/draw around it on similar thickness plastic and use the dremmel to drill and shape it, and a piece of fine sand paper to tidy up the rough edges...

that looks about the same size as the one on the hpi .15 fe engine or the new t15 it should fit

Check out the parts list directly under the picture of the blue/white Bungee. Go to the last page of the parts list and look at the last item there. It's the one that says "no image". http://www.dnaracingteam.com/shop/item.aspx?itemid=295 The description says "Plastic Throttle Arm for .18 Engine". I'll bet that's what you need. Good Luck
