ok i bought one of those rechargeable batteries for my savage, so i dont have to take out the batterie everytime i need new batteires, my question is there is a another rx conncector slot where u charge it up, but how the hell do i do it with the servo case on, do i nedd to cut a hole in the servo case, what kind of tool do u recommend.

YES I CUT A HOLE IN MINE AND THEN I SICONED THE WHOLE BOX TO MAKE IT WATER PROOF I USED A HOT SCREW DRIVER AND MELTED A SLOT :sniper:

A hot soldering iron does a good job melting a slot as well.

o o i vote for error's idea...hmm i think ill do that just gotta get the $30 for the hump pack and charger

you can buy a new switch that has a charging adapter that just hangs out under the body for charging try Larrysperformancerc.com

Yeah, that's actually one thing you need to get cuz I think the stock switch doesn't have the same leads as the rechargable pack.

But yeah, like bigdog said, get one with a charging receptor. Then you can do my mod, and you'll be fine.

Pissant: I realize you already bought a new battery pack, but if you got 20 dollars to throw around, there is a sweet pack on ebay for the savage. It has 2 connectors one for the receiver and one for charging. All you would have to do is cut a hole in the side of your receiver box and feed the charging connector thru andta daa no more radio cover box problems the item # is 3174997891. I have these on my savages they work great can usually get 11 to 12 hours of run time then only takes about 2 hours on peak charger

yea that is the one i bought form ebay, i love it so much. 8-0
