So i got my boyfriend the T-maxx 3.3 for his birthday. Its only the first day, not even ten minutes of riding the EZ starters glow plug light wont light up. Maybe the engine was flooded? So we drained it out. Nope, the glow plug light wont light up. He put a new glow plug in and everything. Still wont start? What do you thinks wrong?

Wow. ok so we went to our hobbie shop and we found out it was the EZstarter. The EZ wand was fully charged and everything. We go to the hobbie shop and they give us a new one. it works twice in the shop. Were just about to leave when Steve starts it outside, and the glowplug light doesn't light up. Ok.. Two of them dont work? The third one works now.. jesus, and those EZstarters are like 60$?! Thank god the hobbie shop gave us the new one no charge.
Anyways; thanks for all your help!

You will need to prime the engine before it will start. Really easy to do on a T-Maxx. Put your finger over the end of the exhaust, hook up the EZ-Start Wand and crank it for @ 3-5 seconds. If you have a clear fuel line, you will see fuel move from the tank to the carb. Once it reaches the carb, prime for another 1 second of so. Then remove your finger from the exhaust, and start it with the wand. Should fire right up....assuming the tune is good on it.

Give that a whirl....and make sure the EZ Start Wand battery is FULLY charged, and the glow plug is good. A lot of people remove the blue wire going to the glow plug, and opt to use a hand held glow ignitor instead. It lasts longer, and won't drain the EZ Start battery so easily.

Thanks, we'll try it.
