Hi,

How much r/c experience do you have? The EVO is intended for beginner to intermediate drivers. They also make great bashers for any level since HPI's are the easiest to custom mod for a variety of applications (everything from racer to drifter). All in all, I would say start out stock and see how you like the feel. Upgrade the areas that compliment your driving style. I think the EVO is a pretty fun car. It was a nice change from belt cars and compared to the earlier HPI cars, this car seems pretty strong and parts are cheap & easy to change/upgrade/repair.

Good luck in your decision.

I have a fair ammount of experiance and am rapidly gaining it. I started at age 4 with Nikkos and at about 9 i moved up to highly modifiable Xmods. Sorta. And then at 11 i got a larger scale electric car(It's a POS I bought it at a garage sale but it's pretty fun. It's highly used but i think it's a Evader.) and now i wanna get into Nitro. Anyways, i can't wait till i get enough money. Heres my christmas list LOL:
