hellfire fuel goes extremely quick

i had my hellfire out today doing some fine tuning on it, and i was racing dan who had his savage x out his wasn't tuned either but all i wanted to know is does the tuning surpose take in more air than fuel or the other way round.

one of my tanks lasted 7 mins which i thought was extremly bad for how much the car as cost me in the first place.

but i was realy happy with the speed it over took a savage 3.5 and a svage 4.1 and a hot bodies lightning 26

no offense but you should be able to beat all those no prob. instead of judging by a/f ratio go by temp. no higher than 270

Really depends. How are you with the throttle???If you are on the gun all the time than I don't see it lasting long. Also your needle settings are you running rich?
