So Friday I snapped a rod and weant searching on Craigslist to see what I could find. Found a guy with 2 maxx classics with 3.3's and one of them had a few better parts. Spare wheels and tires, a gallon of fuel and other spare parts and a lot more parts. So today I weant to tearing the better one down to put all the parts on mine. Big bore suspension with higher spring rate springs but that bad part is the seals are leaking. So ordered rebuild kit for them. Swapped over the motor, wheelie bar, and a 2070 steering servo. A set of actual black wheels . Can't remember the brand but there AWSOME. Had to put on the bigger hubs and these wheels and tires are smaller than the stock ones I had but give it a wider wheelbase too. Anyways took hours to get it all swapped over. So tomorrow I can't wait to get it out here in the horse arena.

It also had a different exhaust as well , don't know what brand or whatever but will see how it runs.

Nice rig. I am running the same pipe on my beater maxx rig. I think those pipes are am older traxxas brand tuned pipe. Mine runs nice on my 2.5.

Yeah I like it. Well I think I found an issue with the 3.3 motor that was on the rig I just stripped to upgrade mine. I was noticing that the tune would not hold. It was constant tuning and would have to ritchen it alot as it ran. After it got to like half a tank it would just shut off. Well I got tired of messing with it and put it up. It's running 20% vp fuel. Just stuck with what it was already running. Well I noticed tonight when I was cleaning it that there was alot of residual liquid around where the head bolts on. So I'm guessing it has an air leak. What's the best way to go about checking this out. I do have a spare head off the motor that locked up on me.
