Heatsink Cooling Head Nova Do these things realy help??? Or is it just more eye candy???

The way I understand it, and I could be wrong, is that if you run a head that let's the engine run cooler, you can run it leaner. Now the problem I see with that, is that if you run it leaner, you aren't getting as much oil in the engine, thus increasing the amount of wear.

I think the only way that would be useful, is if you race.

Like Alien said, they can give you a false sense of security running cooler. Just keep that in mind and tune for performance, you will be fine. It's not really needed unless you live in extremely hot conditions anyways as heat helps these engines run, sucking it out of the engine can cause a slight loss in power leading you to potentially lean it out further then is safe.
