Heat shrink tubing - heat gun neccesary?

Those heat guns are expensive, any other way to get the tubing to shrink?
 
I usually use a match.
 
Cool, so any kind of small flame will work.
 
I use a little butane torch. It wasn't very expensive and it's handy for soldering also. any type of small flame will work but you have to be careful like NCNitro said cuz they well melt rather than shrink if they get too hot.
 
Its the flame you get from the gas ring on a gas cooker top, the thing that you stick your saucepan over to heat and cook the food.
