I got an lrp .28 spec 3 engine for my lst and was wondering what you guys were recommending for breaking in the engine. I have heard alot of thing about heat cycling the engine. What would you guys recommend heat cycling or standard break in to manufacturers specs?

Definitely heat cycle. Your engine will last longer and you will get more performance out of them. It's all about taking your time during this period.

I use the heat cycle method. When animals use the heat cycle method, they almost always get pregnant, so I figure it has to work.

+1 on heat cycle. I used it on the Picco and it runs fast and hard, and even 2 gallons later it has a LOT of compression when warm.
