hey guys,

hi I'm having some trouble tuning my lst2 i bought it used from a guy on craigslist, he started it for me and it ran great. but now since I've gotten it home and tried bashing it a little it keeps dying on me. after about 2 min of running or less, i check the glow plug and its totaly burnt out, so i try and richen it up almost 4 turns out on the high speed and almost 2 turns out on lsn. i dont want to lean it out to much. this is my first nitro truck so please help me out with the things i need to do to have fun with this thing.
thanks everyone in advance

if you got the book with it look to see what they say if the glow plug is burnt out then you need to replace it that could be the problem

turn your hsp needle 1 full turn out and put a new plug in it. If it was running good before you got it you can start tuning from there if not go back to factory specs.

Carb adjustments should be small.
If the engine is running funny, you should only make SMALL adjustments.
A new plug, and going back to factory break-in settings will be a good starting place. Lean the engine a little at a time.
Making major adjustments while it is running or while you are tuning are going to cause the issue you are describing.

Also remember where you are at so that u can always go back if it starts running worse :)
and PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE :)
as long as there is smoke coming out of the exhaust then you can't hurt anything..... i think
