I repaired a lot of curb damage that had happened years ago today. New gas tank, and engine mount. I'm curious about what I should do to ensure the engine runs smoothly. Also I noticed when I was testing the servos that when I hit the throttle the carb slide barely moved over at all. Maybe 5 millimeters or so at best. Should I move the nut forward closer to the spring on the linkage for it, or no?

i would strip the motor down and oil everything. Use After run oil or WD-40.
Take it apart and ensure that it's not gummed up. Take the carb apart and use nitro fuel to soak it in. When everything is clean, seal the back plate and the carb. have fun

Haha, thanks. I don't sense any sarcasm about the "have fun" part at all.:)
