Hi guys, still trying to get use to the tuning side of things. Took it out today and i cooked it again 290+ , thats about 5 times now only taken it out 6 times.:D

So when i got home today i stripped it, the bore has no scratches but when i turn the fly wheel i can slowly hear the compression seeping out of the exaust. If that sounds like a engine rebuild what exactly do i need as this is still new, under 15 tanks of fuel. Will it need a full rebuild or will piston and sleeve be fine.

Still trying to get to grips with the needles, i was trying to bring the temp down with the hsn, so would that be the reason why its boggy at under 270.

Can anyone give me a little more advice on the compression side of things, does the compression get more at running temp or less. If the compression is low will this cause the engine to lean out and raise the temp. Thanks in advance.

After 2 nights of fiddling with the engine i think I've found the problem, thanxs grudge. I looked at that site and did the air leak test, i found bubbles leaking out of the crank shaft bearing on the flywheel side, i take thats not normal so i'll order a new bearing and try again.
