I am wondering if anyone has split the case and worked on their servo and if so is it a pain to put back together? I have a problem with my steering servo which is a Hitec 5925MG Digital Ultra Speed. I started having issues with it after I installed it on my truck. It worked great in my car and then I transferred the servo and receiver over to my truck. After troubleshooting,it is the servo. It will only move a short distance and not move back. I opened the case and the gears are fine and now I want to go in further. Like under the gear box. What should I look out for or do I send it to Hitec? I think it was made in 2001 so I'm sure the warranty is over. Thanks.

When the servo is not in the truck does it turn? If it does the problem might be within your steering rack. Check the steering by turning the wheels. Also make sure your batteries are new or charged.

I took my servo in and the lhs tested it and said it was shot. Thanks for the help though guys.
