I'm thinking about switching bearings, and I know of Boca Bearings but I've been looking around on the net and read some horror stories of damaged engines and bearings seizing and getting totally ruined. Which bearings are better to use? Swiss? Ray's?

Well, if you want my opinion, Boca's are overpriced and although they work very well, I chang eout bearings fast enough that I just either buy stock ones if they look like they are made decently or I use Acer. Lot's cheaper. Ray's are good, too.

Avid also makes decent bearings, $1 a piece is not bad compared to what the LHS charges. I'm like RR, bearings are a disposable item.

So far in over a year and almost a half, I have not had any bearing issues in my Revo. I have had bearing issues in my buggy, though. I'll stick to the statement that Boca are overpriced and that part of routine maintenence is replacing bearings, so I go cheap. I don't think Boca makes a clear claim that their bearings perform better than other brands such as Acer, just that they last longer.

I put Bocas in my Tmaxx and they were pretty nice. Never had any problems mith em and they rolled nice and smooth.

Thanks for help! I'm just gonna leave it as is. I know this is off topic, but does Integy's Resevoir Shock System actually work or is the Resevoir just for show?

The Integy shocks have a working resevoir. How well they work is a different story...
I think they are made for more Asthetic purposes, but that's just my opinion..

I "had" them on my MGT.
They couldn't hold up to what I put them through.
4 out of 8 broke after two bash sessions.
They didn't help with the handling either. Actually, It was worse than stock.
I agree with Imbroken.
More for show, not go.
Just my opinion.

Definitely not getting that. How is the Titanium-Nitride Shock uprgrade? I'm not sure who by, but I think its Traxxas correct? And MIP has Golden Shafts but I think thats also Bling too.

The TiN shocks are the absolute best. So far no aftermarket company has outdone the factory upgrade, IMO, although there are some as equally good. Integy makes a shock for the Revo. Someone on this board recently bought them and noted that they were a lot better than the other Integy shocks.

hmmm i was thinking about boca bearings since they are like 5 mins from my house (boca raton is a city like 5 mins away from me and thats were there headquaters are)
