Has anyone heard of these battery packs???

Link does not work for me. But you might want to check with Fast Eddy, he makes and sells good quality battery packs in several different configurations.

I'll vouch for Ed's batts. I've been using it for just over a month now with no problems, and it lasts longer then any other 1100 I've ever had!

stick around....he pops up on here all the time...or you could send him a PM.

They make a good pack and are 4.00 less then mine.
Why are they less?
They use batteries striate out of the box, I match mine.

For what your using them for you could go either way and be happy.

I'm sent re: batt packs

I've got two from these people "onlybatterypacks.com" and they seem to work fine.. i dont race or have high end radio systems but they seem to work just as well as my venom pack does.. 1100 is kinda low for a savage with high torque servos if you plan on running all day it would last a few tanks but not an all day bashfest. i would go higher if you can afford it.. i wish i did.. also get a good peek charger.. it sucks having to charge overnight on those.. if you just want recharge there fine but if you want quality go to eddy

1100 should give you about 2 hours of runtime with 2 large servos. Keep in mind this is run time not total time. Its best to keep them turned off until your ready to roll.

Will the Savage hold a 5 cell AA Pack rather then a 2/3AA pack? If so we could go up to 2800 or so and bash all week long. I don't have a Savage to play with. :(

A good charger is a godsend.

eddy if you can make it roughly the size of the hump pack but square i think it would go.. but i dont think you get much more then that.. you could get just a radio box off of ebay to play with cheep. whats the difference in the 5 cell hump in the link, and the 5 cell you speak of?? can you not get the sub c's in higher mah ratings??

edit: here ya go eddy $2.99 plus ship.. then you can make custom savage batterys..

Hey eddy, what kinda mah do your packs have? My venom one is startin to go, but should be fine for a while, but when it goes, I'll prolly drop you a pm.

I use only matched 2/3AA 1100 10C high discharge.
Everything is hand soldered with nickel tabs. Silicon multi strand wires and double shrink wrapped.

Can I use the charger from my HPI rotostart to charge FastEddy's battery packs???
