has anyone heard of or tried one of these?

I've never personally had any experience with these engines but a engine is a engine to me. I personally think the 3.3 is plenty in the jato and the perfect motor for the jato. You can experience with different gearing and come out better than experiencing with different engines. Lots cheaper.

I have heard of them and they are supposed to be good. No personal experience though.

I have one on a Maxx right now. Runs like a top, however does run very cool. This was a trick for me as I like to use temp to help with the tune and being as it seems to ike to run around 180 that makes it hard. It holds a tune quite well, but does not like real cold or real hot weather. IE over 85* or under 30*. Would I get another one? Probably not as it is quite comparable to the 3.3 in power and price.

that's what I thought ,plus as shaun mentioned its only about 15 bucks less than a 3.3
