July marks the 5th anniversary of RCNT.
I like to use the 4th of July as the date.

Much like the US wanting to free itself of the King of England and his laws, RCNT claimed its [SIZE=-1]Independence[/SIZE] from the "Queen" (Oval Queen) Of Traxxas and became its own forum.

I want to not only thank WoodiE and the great staff we have put together but also the all the members we have here for making this the great forum that it is.

Wow! It has been that long? The history five years racks up...Happy Birthday RCNT!

Where have the years and bad apples gone...Matts6887, NitroAddict, El Pirata (for those who considered him one), X, and the rest of the malcontents that we used to have fun with and verbally assault.

To those good members that we miss...Hunter, Zandor, and the rest of the goodfellas that have wandered on...

Of course, I am forgetting many...I am only human afterall...

Believe it or not Hunter is around here a lot. I see him lurking several times a week.
I still remember the day I got him kicked off the Traxxas forum by Oval Queen and forced him to join the site.

I've been here 3 years, consider a lot of you friends. Seen a lot come and go in that time. Glad to see the "supreme being" back. Really missed his humor. Hopefully Zandor will be back soon. Not seen Ratzo on for a while.
And what happened to the mermaid? She wasn't on much, but she could talk as much crap as any of the guys.

Happy Birthday RCNT! I have been here for 2 and a half wonderful info filled years. You guys have seen me from my first Tmaxx and beyond. Thanks for a great staff and a great group of members. Next year my Tmaxx is going to break the sound barrier!

Thanks to Woodie, Eddy and the Men in Blue, especially those that continue to send me fake warnings about things I had absolutely nothing to do with!

Like the others, I've made many great friends here and a few, like Sweetdiesel, Jetmech, Ratzo and NCNitro have even been kind enough to call and talk me out of a tree or two! Life is a bitch, to be sure, but the awesome members here manage to keep it in perspective for me!

Adding to the list of those I'd like to see back; Revo Rancher and Jesse G are two that spring to mind!

Hey, what ever happened to nitro_freak123 and the English twits? Boy, I really miss those guys.......NOT!
