I don't know you that well, but happy birthday anyway.

Did you check out his additional info under what kind of RC stuff he owns.... this was there... I wonder if its true? LOL

RC Planes:
Only the mill, the plane is still the topic of an FAA investigation.

Hey guys,

Thank you very much for the well wishes. You guys make me feel at home here that is for sure. It is because of all the friendships and great advice I have made here that this is by far my favorite site on the web. My RC's would not be running..... well as well as they are if it were not for all the helpful advice I have gotten here. There is many, many things I still do not know, but I have no fear because I know if I get into a jam I know exactly where to come for good helpful advice everytime, as well as a few laughs along the way. I come here before I would ever think of going to the LHS. Thanks again guys. I just hope some day I will have the knowledge to be able to give back the same great advice I get here.

Unfortunately the RC Monster Bash got rained out.... :depress: should have brought the boat! So I will have to give it a shot next weekend. I was a bit bummed since I ended up helping my father and uncle lay ceramic tile. All in all not a bad day. Thanks again guys for the birthday wishes. You guys rock! Now off to play with the new Ipod I my Fiance hooked me up with. Talk to you all soon!

No, definitely not Top Secret. I was just being funny. The last time I ever flew I was getting ready to come in to land and went to bank left and and the right wing just exploded. Of course I lost complete control and went down through the trees. Well my buddy and I started laughing because all you could see when you got to the crash site was little pieces of brightly colored debris. Nothing bigger than 6 inches left of the plane. I had to climb a tree to get my electronics back, and dig my mill out of the ground. It must gotten stuck on full throtle once it went into the trees because that mill was almost 8 inches in the ground. The ground was soft but still that was a hell of an impact. Well walking back to the field all the guys wanted to know what happened and where was the rest of the plane. Well my response was that all that was left is the mill, the rest of the plane was impounded as part of an FAA investigation. So, nothing exciting. It is just kind of an ongoing joke with my buddy and I. I wish there was a better story to go along with that quote.
I haven't flown since. So I decided to get back into RC Cars.

Sorry I missed your birthday bro. Hope it was a good one.
I have had a couple of those crashes that the FAA are still investigating. Haven't flew in 2 years. Kinda lost interest. Still got everything. Even bought a 3-cyl. Saito this spring. Didn't have a plane for it, but the guy made me an offer I couldn't refuse. I love aircraft and hope I can get back into it.

I know how you feel man. I would love to fly again, it just started costing me too much green to keep flying. Not to mention, back then when you crashed and burned it meant you spent 3 weeks or more building another bird, and I just didn't have that kind of time to devote it. I lost interest as well. I still have the desire, and everything but a plane, but just no time. I am sure I will fly again, but right now I will stick to the ground pounders... I am still having a blast. Thanks for the well wishes Digger, I had a great day. Take care friend.
