Anytime Sky, just LMK. MPG4 looks pretty good, but I don't think it's win-friendly (without a viewer/codec d/l). QT does save to AVI, but IMO it looses something in the translation too. The only thing wmv really has going for it is filesize anyway, and win compatibility.

Yeah, screw WMV, just save it so we can open it up with Quicktime... compatability is there, and it's all apple poop anyway, so it should be cake to get it to work right on either platform. The best looking movies are in quicktime anyway in my opinion.

yah seriously...it's not even that big of a deal. if it makes some people mad, then screw them...it's your movie, it should be up to you how and in what format you make the movie in, not up to us.

Because the raw footage has nothing to do with mpeg. It is all DV. I have to convert it into whatever flavor I desire. I typically do the .MOV thing because it retains the DV quality and is easier for me to handle. BUT, I am trying to be a nice guy and make things more PC friendly. I guess I should just tell the haters to shut their pie-hole and wait until I get the thing done.

Nicely said Sky! Just do it in .mov format. I would rather watch a video w/ nice pixel quality than watch some blurry blobs run on a track and fly in the air.

Later....

I guess for you, I need to say, "Shut your f'ing pie-hole, you blasted pirate!"

=devil

Holy Crap, I've been out of the loop!!!...the last time I was online, there were only 4 pages to this thread....Really nice pics, Skymaxx...Sorry to hear about your wife, hope all is well.

I wouldn't want the Mac haters out there to sprain their wrist from having to download a free viewer or something...so I'll see what I can do.
Glad to see you really care about us out here...

So how's the production coming? It's got to be close... sorry, don't mean to be impatient, just haven't heard back in a little while.

I just got through with a hellish week and some change (where I did not get to work on it at all). I will be working on the video this evening and through the weekend. Hopefully, I will have it complete by Monday.

LOL...these things take time even for those that do it for a living. I'm working as quickly as I can. Trust me...I want it done as much as you do.
