Ok so i'm finally starting to get some real good power and speed out of my Savage X. The 4.6 is really starting to come to life after about a gallon of fuel. The only problem is it shuts off at half a tank i mean it just dies. It will start right back up and run about another five minutes or so then shut off again with only a little splash left in the tank. It does this every time like clockwork. Any ideas? like i said it makes good power and speed and pulls wheelies like hell. It just shuts off at a half tank everytime. So what could be causing this?

Sounds like you're just a tad lean to begin with then below half tank it naturally leans itself a bit more causing a flame out. Since it fires back up without having to put a new plug in,it isn't way too lean. Richen the HSN counterclockwise about 1/4 turn and see how it does.
Remember too that slight adjustments may be necessary on a daily basis.

Thanks I'll give it a try in couple of days it's like 98 degrees here with a heat index of 105 so I'm staying in the air conditioning!
