Guys Need Help with Engine Break In!!

I'm eager to break in the engine in my new T-Maxx, but I sold the original wheels and tires on ebay. I purchased some beadlock wheels and I haven't received them.(It's been 3 weeks! I cannot believe this!!!) I built a stand for my truck and would like to know if I would damage my truck if I break it in, on the stand, without the wheels and tires. I called my LHS and they told me that the rods needed weight. :stupid: How stupid of me to call him when I can get feedback from you guys. What should I do? :shrug:
