Waste of money on a 2-stroke nitro engine IMO. Now on a 4-stroke... well, we'll just have to see about that :)

Search the site on this topic. Pretty much everybody agrees that a S/C is more about cool factor than anything. Most of us are pretty settled on our opinions of the S/C. Personally, I think the jury is still out on the N2O though. I've seen vids that seem to show both visual and audio proof that significant gains are to be made. The biggest argument with the N2O is the alleged extra wear and tear on the engine. I'm not sold on the idea that it's not worth it. I think the idea of N2O on an r/c seems rather fun. Many people will tell you to simply buy a more powerful engine, but sometimes I have to wonder.. what's the fun in that?

One just needs to figure out a way to add exta fuel. And since nitromethane carries it's own oxygen, I could see some weird issues popping up with tuning the auxilliary fuel system. Perhaps just use a methonal/oil blend for the wet shot.

In any case, nitrous has very little benefit and will cause serios damage if not used with extra fuel.

I was gunna do the S/C but i talked to a few people about it and they said it was really worth it, so i got a OS.21tm for my maxx instead...WOW what a difference

all i have to say is SWEET, but, $179 NO i would get one for $50 i dont care if it doesn't help that much it is SWEET

There was one on craigslist awhile back the dude wanted $100.00 for it and it was new...I passed

I'm pretty sure that the N2O cartridges that RBI sells are gaseous only.

Injecting N2O only? I think that's asking for trouble. All you're doing in that case in leaning out the engine. I've seen many a 1:1 race engine scatter parts due to not enough fuel added with the nitrous. Nitrous can be an awesome power adder, but like Yourgrandma said, you gotta add fuel with it.

SC a 2-stroke, :no_commen

yeah the DRY NOS systems scare me....On my GTP i had a 75hp shot over the Super charger it was like an intercooler so that 75hp shoot was more like a 125 shot
