Okay As Well as you gamers know rockstar games is getting sued by a grandma who bought her grandson the game. there is a "sex cheat" Where when you go into one of your girl freinds house you can control the sex and stuff. hillary clinton is getting all mad about this. its bs i was looking for it and if you dont delete it of your pc if you have the pc version it messed with your game/pc. if you save it on ps2 it jacks stuff up too. i saw some pictures of this "SEX" And its nothing. they are wearing there clothes for crying out loud! It Takes Alot To Get This Cheat Too. I Think Its All BS They Are Making It Rated AO Adults Only Now. What I DOnt Understand Is The GMA Buys Her I Think It Was 14 yr Old grand Son The Game. Hes The One Who WOuld Of Put The Cheat In. (which hed have to look for and have a game shark or something). ANd she buys him a game where you can chop off heads and kill inocent ppl and she gets pissed over a sex scene. it doesn't show n e thing. this is stupid. i just wanted to c what you guys thought about the matter...

I have the PC version of the game..... to me it's not much different from the others except from the need to feed and workout. A little more responsibility.

Ya know, the whole problem here isn't the content. It's the fact that the grandmother HERSELF bought the game for her GRANDSON, most likely without even mentioning this fact to the retailler. I highly doubt she bought it for herself (unless she belongs to the Hells Grannies).

That'd be like myself walking into a gun shop and purchasing a 9mm for a convicted murderer, without informing the gunshop that I am purchasing it for someone else.

Plain and simple, if there is to be a lawsuit here for the content, etc, Rockstar should have the right to countersue for the fact that the grandmother did NOT heed the warnings placed on the game, much less that she KNOWINGLY purchased it for a minor.

The way I see it; she's just as guilty of 'corruption of a minor' as Rockstar Ent. is.

Any parent of grandma that buys there 14 year old kid a game called "GRAND THEFT AUTO" (with a Mature rating) has some issues to start with. I have been a gamer since the Atari and have watched the games evolve to what they are today, and even though GTA games are very cool, the sex scenes are a little innapropriate. I mean its a video game for cripes sake. I have a channel on my tv called G4 where its the video game channel, and I was surfing the other day and they had on a top 10 of video games sexiest chicks... Where all these nurdy lookin dudes were sitting in a circle and getting off on these video game chicks. it was pretty sad. Whats going to end up happening is that a video game isnt going to be rated by the creater anymore. Its going to have to go to a certain dept. and there going to rate it, which will make the game come out 3 months longer I guess. Kinda sad that some of these creators have to push the limits all the time, but whatever sells I guess.. Btw anyone play Leisure suit larry?? (If not the whole point of the game is to get chicks drunk and do them.. Theres a few sex scenes in ther, but its usually the guy larry and stuffed animals, or something..lol.. LOL...this is my kind of topic....I agree w/ most everythign said already....grams should be sued for being so friggin stupid.....
I have a friend who's son is 15 and he plays all these messed up games....it's all he does...and he's starting to talk back to his father (my friend) like he's one of these bad asses in the game.....If he were my kid I think there would definately be an ass whooping in his future....like the immediate one...I think the kid is doomed because of his obsession w/ video games.....
I personally look at what my daughter wants to play and what she is allowed to play or watch even...If she goes to a friends house I meet w/ the parents so I can determine if they are the "hey I let my 5 YO kid play kill em all and hack the body up video games" if they are then I suggest the kids play at my house...where I can better monitor the influences modern media has on my kid......I get soo pissed off when I hear all these people bitching about a company releasing a game and then all of a sudden they catch a scene from the game while the kid is playing it, THEN it becomes an issue....WTF were you doing the first nite you got the game for them??? If you didn't know what was on the game why didn't you research it a little more before plopping 50 bucks down on something you know nothing about......
I've recently started letting her play HALO and I'm a little worried about that one but I limit it to one round/board and it goes OFF....NO zombie creating happening in my home.....but for the most part there's a ton of kid friendly games to get younger gamers...and they are still fun....I personally liked the Tony Hawk games until they went "THUG".....the first one wasn't so bad but the second I thought might be a little much......we still play the classic mode.......
If granny wins this lawsuit, I'll be pissed....it will just serve as another example of the gov. telling us we are not capable of making decisions for ourselves.......

I've haven't nor have I ever wanted to play GTA games...but that lil trick makes me want to get it now......that's my favorite scene from one of guy ritchies movies (can't remember Snatch or Lock Stock and 2 smkin barrels)....that was some funny poop the guy got beat to death w/ a dong....LOL.....that would suck......sitting in the after life talking about how crappy it was to die and then everyone can laugh at your demise to a rubber C0CK!!!! In Michigan they have already taken GTA san andreas off the shelves and edited it. Personally I like the game, it comes in handy, for example: I got a ticket last night for backing into a parking space, so instead of killing cops in reality, I killed in a game, that's right, I killed cops in a game. Sorry, this might be a bit overboard, but this violent video game rioting and poop needs to stop. It's getting old and another gran theft auto will be released anyway, and so will many other "violent" video games.

It has already been stated, but she doesn't have much ground to stand on. According to the article, she admits to completely ignoring the rating system. So let me get this straight, you, and 85 year old bat, is sueing Rockstar, because their game, which states clearly(or at least I think so) on the case MATURE 17+, Had some excuse for sex in it. Hmmmmmm, but it wasn't Rockstar that exploided that cheat was it? It was some codebreaking company. The playable version does not have access to this "event". If I were the judge, I would throw you in jail just for waisting my time with your ignorance(which is why I'm not a judge and probably never will be). Sorry fellas, the slew over violent "games" really gets me going.

This may be pushing it too, but I gave my 8 year old brother gran theft auto 3, he plays it and goes about with his business. I did make it a fact that the game has nothing to do with reality, and he understands this.
