I'm REALLY pissed that AE couldnt make a newer engine and radio than what is in EVERY other one of their old rtr's and put it in the GT2. I think they had enough time to at least make a new version of the AE .15 and at LEAST get rid of that cheezy ass XP2 radio that id rather give away than use (with a GT2?!??). I havent seen what the interior looks like yet, but I'm kinda dissapointed. I guess i was just counting on them to update everything, not just downgrade from the FT edition, and throw in all the cheap rtr stuff. So much for me buying the GT2.

The Factory Team car however, looks like a Grade A competition level truck.

What are your guy's thoughts? I think they should/should've teamed up with LRP and at least stuck a nicer LRP engine in there.

I havn't seen any info on an "rs" gt2 yet but it really comes down to cost. Even without all the hopups the cost of a rtr with better equipment will put it out of it's pricing range. I'm guessing the RTR will be around $300-$330. If they're gonna be competitive in the RTR market they need to debut with a competitive price. I'm gonna get one for sure though, not sure if I'll get a kit or rtr but I'm excited to get into 1/10 scale.

Yeah, i was thinking they should have a basic rtr kit with the old equipment, then another, but better rtr with new and improved stuff for a little more, and then the FT kit.

Lessen, I have a T4 and 10th scale trucks are awesome. They're pretty light compared to other nitros so the acceleration is crazy. The kick up helps them a lot on the jumps, but since it's 2 wheel drive, it just takes a controled throttle finger.

Enjoy!

the FT truck is definally a good truck and i plan on getting one when it comes out.

the AE .15 isnt that bad I've had one and liked the motor.. the radio gear well sucks but then again all RTR radio gear usually blows!...
