GS Storm Discontinued!

Rumor has it that GS is going to discontinue the Storm in favor of a new buggy.

Anyone have more info on this?

I know they are coming out with a new buggy called the Avenger. I figure it is going to take the place of the storm.

I wanted to get off that ship once I found out in mid November, and I got my MBX-5

Yes and no. The Avenger will replace the Storm as a buggy but tthe SUT will require the production to continue as an MT.
Just a rumor going around.

yeah just recently coming out with the SUT will havto mean they need to still produce replacement parts for it right? which will also mean replacement parts for the storm. i hope crap i jsut got my pro and havnt even started to abuse it yet! (freakin snowed/frozen in!!!)

I did some research and here is what i learned about the storm.

"Storm cars will be available for some time to come. Storm parts will be available for a long time to come. We are working on a new car, and therefore we will stop production of Storm Pro and RTR buggies."
