hi, i want more ground clearance in my buggy, i mostly use it for bashing. Was thinking of putting some tmaxx tires with 17mm hub rims, any suggestions on how to raise my buggy?, does any one know who makes truck wheels with 17mm on it?

Ofna is the only one I know of that makes 17mm Truck wheels.

I would not suggest you do this unless you have a powerful engine, strong drive train, and a very good clutch. Because of the size and weight of truck tires it puts a big strain on all those parts. When I did it (check my gallery) it caused my engine to un very hot and I burned up a set of clutch shoes in one day of running.

did you change your spur gear or someting on your engine??? I've been told that you should either change to a bigger spur, or change to a smaller clutch bell, or both............ maybe it was small spur and dbig clutch bell...... ios any of this true? what is de diference between a 46t steel spur gear and a 48t, mor torque? more speed?

you are supposed to use a larger spur and a smaller clutch bell to lower the gear ratio for less speed and more power. www.imexrc.com makes some wheels that fit t-maxx size tires and have a 17mm hex and full backspacing for buggies. If you are looking for a kit, I've heard this one is pretty good...
