Does anybody know what the factory needle settings are and proper break in procedure for the GS .21? Thanks for any help.

Hight speed: Just below flush.
Low speed: 3.5 turns out
Idle: .7mm to 1 mm

this is almost right,, heres what they are

HSN 3 1/2 turns out
LSN flush with carb , then 1 full turn in
Idle stop is correct but you shouldnt need to touch it!
good luck!

I would't say nobody here knew. I would say somebody new here didn't search

ok the mystery is solved. YOu were pretty close in your guessing
HSN 2.5 turns out
LSN 3.5 turns out
Idle about 1-1.5 mm gap

So you were a little lean on the low end (but not really since 3.5 is factory=rich) and a little rich on the high end. Good luck.

btw that is from a GS employee not me.

Thanks. GS gave me the link for these settings. So between the two, I should get be up and racing. Thank again.

I am glad they posted it finally. It took me and a lot of other talking to the guy I know at GS to get that to come about. Would be a no-brianer imo but they just got that up as of that earlier post I sent you a link to.
