Grrrr #!!@&&%$! Ditch, Again ! (pics)

Well.. today I'm out running the Savage, we built som ejummps and me and the boys went through about a quart.

The neighbor kids just sit patiently, and never ask to run the nitros they help carry my stuff, help with grocercies help my kids clean the yard etc... So whenever we're about done I take the time to let 'em burn a tank or two..

Well one of the pretty experienced kids got close to the ditch. He got nervous and not only turned the wrong way, but hi the throttle instead of the brakes.

This time I got to watch it roll into the ditchh, and dive as he hit the throttle..blub blub it died in the creek. This is the second time, first was my boy. Welp, time to tear it down and clean again..here's the carnage pics lol..I got disgusted and set it down for the night, it's soaking in good ole WD-40

Dude - Ouch bro. Don't feel that bad though. Last time I let my neighbor kid drive one of my Maxx's he went WOT (@ least 35mph @ this alltitude) into a big street light pole and ripped the front end off the truck and did serious damage to the rest of the truck. Let's just say that as much as I like some of the neighbor kids, they wont be driving my new CyberMaxx when it's done.

Heh, I'm still having a little hope.. it was worse last time, the air filter was way dirty and all that sand got sucked in.. it still ran pretty good..

I'm really hoping it will last me a little longer.. my next engine is a 24.7 pro whenI can free the funds.

Heh, the kids face Ghost white lol was priceless he had this look like.. this guy's going to kill me I don't think he could set down the TX fast enough lol...I let him sweat for a little bit, then let him know it happens. If it was anyones fault it was mine for letting him drive near the ditch. It's all good.. surprises like this are what make the perfect days perfect.

so I'm not the only person who busts the top of there cooling heads off i use the zip ties quite a bit now.

Yup, heh that's about the third cooling head I've gotten a hold of.. every one of them when I was "just tuning" and didn't have the lid on ... lol

the zip tie trick works quite nice done it to both of mine and i flipped my car a few times today and you can tell they are taking the beating instead of the lid.

Ahh the kids do a lot for me, they didn't ask.. now if they would have been beggen and beggen me, and I didn't know 'em I'd be hot..

The nitro's are fun don't get me wrong, but I don't have anyone to run with so honestly 75% of my fun is watching the kids run 'em. With that comes the inherant risk of mass destruction LMAO..

I think roundrocknitro had it covered.. time for a fence! Then on the other hand, we'd have to jump it..more money for parts lol...

Grrr i didn't get the Savage finished..it's sweet weather oh well maybe we'll barBq lol
